Patrick Farrugia’s debut album, out now.
After releasing the upbeat hook-heavy “True, Too”, the bouncing psychedelic “Memory Bank”, and the synthesized song-of-the-summer “Pyotr’s Dream”, Vancouver bedroom-pop artist Patrick Farrugia is proud to announce his debut full-length solo record, You can find the joy in anything. An exploration in dreamy, shoegazey indie pop, You can find the joy in anything takes the listener through a dynamic journey of personal musings and metaphors that many can relate to. Patrick’s debut LP is out now via Kingfisher Bluez (vinyl) and Placeholder Records (cassette).
From an early age, Patrick has had a profound connection to music. As a second-generation musician, he has been immersed in a diverse range of musical genres, each contributing to his growth and development in understanding and absorbing a variety of music.
With over a decade of production and two decades of performing, Patrick’s work from both sides have gone onto critical and commercial availability. Seeking honesty above all else in art, his production and engineering aims to help artists sound their best while keeping the human element intact. Patrick Farrugia is queer, autistic, and currently resides on the unceded land of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwəta peoples in the city currently referred to as Vancouver.
“It’s no surprise that the songs can get stuck in your head after just one listen.”
